Weekend Diaries of Kyle Knoblock

Summer 2009

I am spending the second summer of my college career chilling in Israel—and by “chilling,” I mean programming robots at a university called Bar Ilan located just outside Tel Aviv. There are about thirty of us MIT kids scattered around Israel this season, and I live with one of them in a sizable yet modestly-furnished apartment situated twenty-five minutes by foot away from my lab. While during the week, my life is fairly regulated, on the weekends I plan on venturing out and experiencing the surrounding regions. Hoping for some noteworthy times, I’ve decided to record my journeys to read over later and to let everyone know what I’ve been up to.
